Stage 1 – Market Research & Analysis

  • Goal:

Understand how Indonesian homeowners list their properties and uncover pain points in the current flow from listing creation to buyer engagement.

  • Activities:

    • Benchmarked local competitors such as Rumah123 and OLX to compare listing ease and trust signals.

    • Interviewed Pinhome homeowners and small landlords to identify friction in uploading details, verifying ownership, and tracking leads.

  • Insights:

    • Trust is critical—users want simple ownership verification and clear documentation requirements.

    • Many homeowners felt overwhelmed by photo and pricing guidelines.

    • Lack of timely lead notifications caused missed buyer connections.

Stage 2 – Concept Development & User Flow Design

  • Vision:

A seamless, mobile-first flow enabling homeowners to create and manage property listings directly within the Pinhome app with minimal steps and maximum clarity.

  • Personas:

    • First-time sellers who need guidance.

    • Repeat landlords with multiple rental properties.

  • User Flows:

    • Guided “Add Property” process with inline tips for pricing and photography.

    • Quick ownership verification using digital documents or Pinhome field agents.

    • Real-time lead notifications and chat integration.

    • Designed a three-step path—List → Verify → Connect—that keeps actions concise.

Stage 3 – UI Design & Prototyping

  • Wireframing:

Focused on mobile usability, ensuring clear hierarchy for key actions—Add Photos, Set Price, Verify.

  • High-Fidelity Prototypes:

Built in Figma using Pinhome’s brand palette and typography to maintain consistency while highlighting CTAs.

  • Key Visual Decisions:

    • Step-by-step “wizard” layout with progress indicators to reduce drop-off.

    • Prominent trust badges (“Verified Property,” “Secure Transaction”) to boost confidence.

    • Sticky “Publish Listing” button for a clear final action.

    • Created an interactive prototype demonstrating photo uploads, verification, and real-time chat handoff.
